Grr. My mom decided like two days ago that we're going to go to Charlottesville for a Veterans Day Weekend, so I got to search for hotels.

Too bad we didn't go back when we were supposed to, mid October. Naturally, on the 12th, there's a Virginia vs. Georgia game. Sucks because all of the hotels are booked up - except like one, but then all 4 of us would have to share a king bed. No thanks.

The neon is offically my brother's. I have $500 + whatever my dad feels like giving me for a car.

Last year in El Paso, Tx the student body staged a walk out to protest the changing over to a block schedule. They got permission from their principal to walk out between 12 & 1 pm (I think). After they were supposed to return, no one went back to class (or very few). Eventually it escaladed into a small riotous event with students throwing rocks at police (which showed up to make sure it was a safe protest). 1 woman police officer was hit in the head & went to the hospital, then the police began to "brutally dispurse the mob". W/E, the police just drug some kids away & tackled others cause they were throwing rocks & such...dumbass parents always wanting to sue cause their kids got arrested for being a moron.

When I was a junior, a riot broke out during the Martin Luther King Jr. assembly.  Kind of ironic, don't you think?  There were chairs being thrown, and the staff tried to calm the students down, but one of them had their ribs bruised.  It started out with a racial slur, in case you're wondering.

I'm awake in the infinite cold.

What happened was I go to third period (Mechanical Drawing with Mr. Hanlin) and
begin do my work which is to draw an isometric figure (boring stuff yea). So maybe round 20
minutes later he starts yelling at some students because they were talking loudly. A FULL
10 MINUTES After he finishes talking, I turn around to someone and ask them to stop talking
since I hate being yelled at by him since when he yells he generalizes it and calls us 9th graders,
etc.. Well he must have taken it as me mocking me and yells at me saying. "Nelson: SHUTUP!". I am surprised
and say "Uh, why did you tell me to shutup?". He then told me I was being argumentative and
began to write me up for disrespect. I just sat down and continued working. I am still mad though.
Around 10 minutes later he tells me "So nelson, what are you going to do while you're suspended?".
At this point I try to argue that I was not mocking him and he once again calls me argumentative
and tells me to leave. I ask for an escort by security since when I am mad sometimes I do crazy things
(Like walk out of school grounds -- done it before). He must have taken that as insubordination
and wrote me up for that too. Around 5 minutes later security arrives and escorts me to the disipline
office.

Now I am talking to the principle.
Now this principle is pretty much an asswipe. He won't let you make a statement to defend
yourself, he suspended me for one day. (On Monday).

Okay so today I go for my reinstatement and he demands I admit I was wrong and that I admit
to doing everything he wrote. I ofcourse denied anything he wrote and he got mad because I was
mounting an argument against the entire write up and proving him wrong. He said "You know what,
two more days okay?". My mom got mad at this point and asked him why he wouldn't listen to me.
So he told my mom that he assumed the teacher is always right and is not going to doubt the credibility
of a professional. My mom said some other stuff and we left. Both me and my mom pissed.

Now when I return to school I need to bring a letter (stating I was wrong etc..) which
I refuse to write. I will write how I am NOT wrong instead, see how he likes it. So yea
I'll probably face 2 more days of suspension on friday. Oh fucking well. Prick.

Enjoy.
I can't stop laughing, is this a real story? This sounds like grade 6, you go to a twisted little school.

Tyee is a very diverse school, and for some reason, one of the students (a Samolian one) was being disrespectful while someone was speaking to the audience, so a Samoan guy told him to shut his -- excuse the language -- "burnt nigger ass up."  The Samolian guy responded back by calling the Samoan person a "horse-eating fuckshit," and they both got up and started pushing and shoving.  I was a few seats behind, and watched it all, and the next thing you know, the Samolian guy tries taking a swing at the Samoan guy, who dodges and drops the Samolian with one punch.  Another Samolian guy comes out of nowhere and hits the Samoan guy, and from there, everything escalates into a racial battle, so it was like, a free-for-all with the races.  Then some Samolian picks up a chair and defends himself with it, and hits this big, big Samoan guy over the head from behind, and so he fell down and didn't move, while the Samolian guy began kicking and stomping.  I ran over because the Samoan guy was my friend, grabbed the chair out of the Samolian's hands, and hit him really hard in his temple.  Everything was in slow motion for some reason, so it all seemed unreal.  The Batallion Chief (a police force over here) came, and started to try and break it up.  A lot of the fighting carried on outside, some were still fighting inside, and others were just watching in fear.  You can imagine how many cops showed up afterward.  The parking lot was full of them!  This might seem exaggerated, but it's not.

Jesus son of Mary where do you live & where are Samoans from?

EDIT:
QuoteI was wondering if it would be ok if I combine my portfolio and reflective essay.

I have written my reflective essay to contain hyperlinks to each file/assignment that we've completed throughout the semester.  Of course this means that if I print out my portfolio it won't have the same effect as it would if I had an electronic version to submit.  I'd like to submit it both in a hard copy and by compact disc for the final draft of it, if that is ok with you.

Thanks,
   Tyler
