It is the Americans fault. For example, when is the last time something good about the government got more than 30 seconds of news coverage? Us Americans only focus on the bad things in this country, but we never try to fix them.

We need a president like FDR to turn this country around.

Why would we focus on the good things? Isn't focusing on bad things a first step to fixing them? You have to recognize whats wrong before you can fix it.

How bout this: I neither pity nor hate America, I realize that we as a country are in a downward spin that will either reverse itself or continue downward until the rest of the world gets pissed off and America gets invaded (more likely).

When did I have pity? I might of said "I hate America", which than would be partly true.

I think that we should start trying to get America to disarm its nuclear weapons, though.
