If you can't enforce safety rules don't you fucking dare even apply to become a lifeguard or I will pick you up, throw you in the pool, beat you over the head with your own rescue tube, kick you out, and then bitch out the kids because you don't know how.

Let me put it this way: I'm a good swimmer, but anyone on swim team is going to kick my ass, hands down.

If I saw someone struggling to swim in a wave pool, I'd be there before their heart stopped, though, so it's all good. :)

EDIT -
During training we had to prove that we could swim 500m without stopping. If I remember correctly it took about 10 minutes, but unfortunately I had to stop a few times to catch my breath, but they still passed me since I'm asthmatic and didn't have my inhaler on me, and since no pool I'd ever guard is more than 50m across, not to mention that half-way across responsibility is transferred to the other guard, then...

My best style is breath stroke when i was doing swimming i won some competitions in the breath stroke events :)

O btw do you ever get to ride the jet ski's?
