I'm getting an Ipod of christmas. I'm excited, although it's only 20 gigs. (279$)

4G? That's what I have.

Naw it's a 20. It's the HP one. I haven't opened it yet, but I'm expecting it to be awesome.

I got a 40GB one.  3 days.  ......

But I can assure you I don't plan on getting socks for it.

Good point iago!  WTF does an IPod need with socks anyway?
That sucking sound you hear is my bandwidth.

That's the iPod photo.

4G stands for Fourth Generation.

To keep it warm, comfy, stylish, and free from scratches.

warz

I just figured they were socks for you, with iPod logos on them. They're for the iPod?? lol. That reminds me of those Giga pet things and the keychain holders for them. "Oh, my gigapet needs to stay warm so I'll buy this $10 keychain because it's fluffy, and fluffy means warm!"

(no offense trust. I'm not calling you stupid, I'm calling people who spend $30 on socks for an iPod stupid)

Well, I actually agree, I had decided against it. I wanted one, but I didn't want 6 colors or want to spend $30. However, I figured if I can resell them on eBay (they were going $10/each when I last checked) I'd make the money back on colors I don't want (pink/purple).

no way they'd ever fit my size 14 foot. I want some human socks though. :P

"Sorry, your session has timed out.  We suck because people can't link to our stuff."

Also, I'm feeling worse about getting an iPod now.  I don't like the idea of being associated with people who buy socks for appliances.

Agreed, I'd need therapy if I owned that.

Utterly Lame...
Ya know... many people have put their iPod in a sock on their own. This idea isn't new or particularly interesting.
So it's hard to believe Apple would actually market this, then gouge the hell out of a customer ($29 for a pack of SOCKS?) for something with the Apple logo.

Pathetic, and anyone buying such a product at these prices needs to get therapy.

But we all know trust should be getting therapy ANYWAY, so it's ok!

And by the way, this site made me laugh (note that it predates the "real" iPod socks):
http://www.maneeshsethi.com/ipod/
"This is the iPod superCase, developed with care, time, and saran wrap. You can make your own with only a knife, saran wrap, tape, and staples. Oh, and a sock."

People are marketing their own socks now that they made. I don't care, I like them and it'll protect my  iPod. :o

The iPod alone is beautiful, putting that ugly saran wrap thing, or even a regular sock, is ew and is covering up the beauty of your ~$300+ investment.
