Would probably be a medical discharge which is considered a general discharge. No on the money but it wouldn't hurt his future any. Disability money, prolly not but depending on how long hes been in would give him VA benefits. Shout if  you're fighting getting discharged enough and they do it anyways at least try figure out if you can get the new GI bill.. but if you're going with it or even causing the discharge you're prolly just gonna get a plane ticket when you leave and thats it.
