Lacrosse yesterday, I got my butt kicked and I still feel a little pain in my legs (though I did run this morning too) but damn, that game is the bomb. I love it, and I've only played a couple of times. I've definitely improved a LOT since last practice 2 weeks ago.

Anyways, my weekend:
First long road trip in my truck (740+ miles)
Las Cruces -> Clovis, 322.4 miles, 18.07 mpg.  Nice, around 5 hours
Met Jacque's sister in Clovis + some of her friends.  Miranda, very cool friend of hers
Clovis -> Albuquerque, 220 miles, 18.17 mpg.  So flat, boo
Saw the Zia marching festival.  Placement went 2 Colorado bands, Rio Rancho, Mayfield (my high school), Clovis.  That's all I really wanted was for Mayfield to beat Clovis (sorry if you read this Jacque).  Clarissa (a friend that was with us) kept going on & ON about how Clovis was totally way better than Mayfield & we had no chance (we beat Clovis by 1.1 points [said Rosamond whom was another friend that was with us]).  I got a little smirk on my face when they announced Clovis in 5th & then Mayfield, felt bad for smirking, but good @ the same time.
Albuquerque -> Las Cruces, 226 miles, ??.?? mpg.  Eh, I stopped driving after about 30-40 miles to take a nap so Jacque drove.  I woke up & Jacque kept driving & we just talked.  My baby drove my baby.  Very good though, I like her.


So, yeah, good trip.  Met cool people, saw a SUPER flat area of New Mexico (this place was flatter than a 11yr old boy's chest), Zia went good (it got rained out & they canceled finals, but that just means I got back earlier).
