When it rains really hard and no one clears out the storm drain in front of my house, it backs up, gets in the lawn, then seeps into my room via the chimeny.

Btw basement room.

One of my CDRom drives wouldn't install Linux right, or even mount it.  But it could boot off the cd just fine, and get started.  I swapped out the drive, and wrote "fllaky" in marker, and used a different drive which worked.  Hmm!

And by the way, I understand both metric and English units perfectly well.  Unlike Americans, we're comfortable with either here :-P
