Schools out! Not for a bombscare though, but for a snowday! I'm at school right now (we had early dismissal at 12:30 and I'm waiting for the bus right now (it's lunch time, so I'm in the programming room)).

On a more serious note, Chuck Norris has invaded the schools. This is getting annoying right about now, even to me. Direct quote from the markerboard in the front of the room.

Quote3rd + 4th
- Finish videos
- Select 1 Career + do a 3P paper
- See e-mail for details

5th
- Chapters 6 + 7 ... move on into 8

6th
- Chuck Norris is absent, but you must work like him today.

(The teacher is gone right now)

You don't play WoW, obviously.

Google for Chuck Norris facts.

So you get wood from stretching?  Were there at least chicks in the room stretching too so that you had a reason for it?

hismajesty

We had early release today, so after school I took Lauren and Scarlett to lunch and then I went over Scarlett's house for awhile. Of course, Lauren has to lie and say she's going over Scarlett's house whenever we go do this stuff, and she forgot to call and say she was 'there.' So when we get to Scarlett's house (like 2 hours after we got out of school) she calls and says she was "walking on the beach" and her mom didn't really believe her. Her mom then started asking about "Matt" (me) and if "Matt" becomes an "issue" then Lauren needs to talk to her. (Because Lauren apparently NEVER talks to anybody online, but two nights ago we talked for 3.5 hours and last night we talked for 1.5...and the computer isn't in her room, so her parents kinda asked.)

ANYWAY, so then I had to leave and they were trying to get me to skip my lacrosse GAME and stay there. I ended up staying like 15 minutes more and was 20 minutes late to game warmups. Luckily, all I missed was everyone getting dressed...I got there as they were taking a team picture and had to run (while putting my jersey on) over to it.

Then we played, and won 8-1. Our coach played everybody, even our really sucky kids. For one half we used our backup goalie...he started playing lacrosse last week. He didn't let anything in though. I didn't get to play as much as I would have liked, but it's because he had to cycle through like 30 guys. I was placed on the 3rd midfield line though from the beginning, so at least I'm a bit up above the rest. :) The other teams coach thanked ours for playing bad players too, because they were a new team and most of their players had never played before.

Even with that score, our coach said we didn't do that well and shouldn't be too happy about it. Alot of people said it didn't even feel like a win.

Oh well, we won and I had a really nice assist on a clear. The goalie cleared the ball to me (I was wide open) I got it turned around and ran, but quickly picked up a defender. I passed it under/onehanded to a guy a few feet from me right under my defenders arm the other guy got it on the bounce (he didn't see it at first) and went straight for the hole...goal. Woo.
