Yeah, I had a real nice time. I hadn't been to that part of the Outer Banks for a couple of years, and it's amazing how much has changed. For example, this one place that we used to go to has now been mowed down and beach houses have been built in it's place. I really didn't want to leave though, but we had to.

The 'resort' was less 'luxurious' than their site made them sound. For example, I wasn't impressed with the clubhouse - the 'gym' only had a few machines, the gameroom was small, and the tennis court needed a crack repaired. I don't care much though, as the place we were originally staying (where my grandparents (and now my father, as he bought while we were down there) own) had been overbooked and the owner of the unit had decided to stay there afterall, so the property mangagement place put us in this other place. I missed being _right_ on the beach, but we were only 25 yards from it. Overall it was nice, and what I really liked is that we all got along much better than we do at home, and also I was allergy-free for a week. The behavior part was probably due to my parents bribing my sister and I to not argue. (However, the first 3 days or so, I was sick...I spent the afternoon of day #2 in Urgent Care waiting to be looked at. I had a stye in my eye and it looked gruesome. It was very irritating, but it's gone now and I got new glasses out of the ordeal.)

Who the hell buys booze?

5 finger discount!

On the topic of alcohol: apple-twist vodka gives you heartburn that doesn't quit.

Fucks you up pretty good after going through 1 and a half bottles with a friend, though. ;)

EDIT -- WHY DOES TACO BELL CLOSE AT 1 AM? I had to eat at Denny's instead. Mmm, philly melt.

Wait, what did your dad buy trust?  Timeshare in some place?

I think my friends' grandparents just have timeshare at the house in Lake Tahoe (it's like a $3 million house)  Supposedly Tiger Woods just bought a house near where I'm stay, he dropped $22 million

Ok, I'm watching 'Made' on MTV...some girl wants to become more girly (she is a tom boy).  She has a date to prom with someone that is slighty more than a friend but still not just a friend.

She really wants this other dude, Eric.

After hanging out with Eric she asks him to prom (like 3 or fewer days before prom).  Eric says "I can't let you do that to the other guy.  Is he cool with this?"  She said the other guy was cool with it (she hadn't told him:().

I soo feel bad for that other guy, I would TOTALLY be ticked @ that girl.  Break a date 3 days before prom with me eh?  (Dude she ditched had dropped some serious cash it looked like)  God that's jacked...stupid women & their shallowness, I suppose ANY of them would do something like that one ANY guy, how sad

Yeah, we have two weeks in Atlantic Beach, NC (one is used for spacebanking as it's not a red week) and now one in Nags Head, NC (both in the Outer Banks). The week we got is a red week (prime week) but it's right after my grandparents week...and it's also when we'll be going back to school. My parents are going to use that one for trading/renting/spacebanking/etc.

Next year we're going to just rent (or, maybe, buy - as my dad was looking at them) a beach house. We're going to The Cape I know next summer as well, so maybe we'll be able to spacebank one of our weeks in the Outer Banks and use it there. *shrug*

I really don't like the idea of timeshares, they're overpriced in my humble opinion. The original quote (now that the place is rather established) for one week at the timeshare my grandparents own at in Williamsburg, VA costs more than many Americans make in a year (somewhere around $30k.)

I'm not complaining though, they're willed to me so at least I know when I'm older I have a place to stay 3 weeks out of the year in case I'm homeless. :P
