Also, I disagree that America doesn't want the liberal agenda.  It was 51% to 48%.  Pretty close.  I'm sure there'll be a democrat in office next term.

Yes hillary... oh god, can we say socialist/fascist?  I think we should get alan keyes to run for president and a woman to be running mate, that way they cant call us a "racist, male political rich party..."

It wasn't as close as you think. Clinton never got above 50% of the vote. If Pero hadn't been running the GOP might have swept 1992 and 1996.

The last president to get this much of a percentage of the vote was LBJ.
