It just looks to me like it's low-color, which I don't like.  The background looks good, though

Mmm interesting idea "shadow works", but since your using the word "shadow" it would look much better if you used a darker theme.

He's pretty bad ass. Horus doesn't look like it's done on a computer it looks like it's made out of a metal.
