Lucky. I live in wales and all we get is rain and wind. No snow. it sucks :(

iago

It rained here for two days, then snowed for 2 days.  Now we have about an inch of ice everywhere, with between one and two feet of snow on top of it.  Fun!

How cold was it when the first snow fell? If it's too warm when the snow falls, the surface of the ice will become rough and rugged. I like it much better when it's really cold when the snow falls, so it lies like a powder on top of the smooth ice.

Ice on top of the snow is pretty nice too. Whatever that's called.

I quite like snow but i get mugged on my paper round by little kids when it does.

Soul Taker

Paper boys are great targets for mugging.  They're usually carrying large amounts of money in wads of $50 bills.

Kids (meaning people under 30 or so I think) aren't allowed to have paper routes. Only people I've ever seen deliver papers looked 30-40+. Safety reasons, I'm sure.

It went from +2 (on christmas day and the next two days) while it was raining to about -15 - -25 for the rest of the week

In North Carolina it's illegal to fish from your car, unless you're fishing for whales of course.

Meh

Huh what does that have to do with snow?

Indeed.

Other than that, I still wonder what kind of ice and snow combination iago got.. If it grew gradually colder, I suppose he might've gotten the one with a rugged ice surface where you can hardly slip. The boring one. I hope not. Shiny ice under a concealing layer of powdery snow makes the walk outside much more ... interesting ...

Ok enough is enough we have like 2 feet of snow and it just started to snow again and last night it rained some but the snow didnt melt away and now all the rain freezed and wow its a big mess im glad i dont have to work today

Its so funny watching my dog try to walk through the snow in the backyard

It's the evil kind, trust me.  I've been driving on it, and it's horrible.  Walking on it is just as bad, too.  I actually fell once!  I never fall!  But I had fast enough reaction that I didn't hurt myself, I broke my own fall with my hands and knees (spread out the landing enough that I barely felt it)

Beh, I actually had to shovel to get out of the driveway today.  And I barely made it through several intersections.  We got ~1.5feet of snow yesterday, and they haven't finished plowing yet :(
