We get alot of cheap junk from them, but its only because they exploit basically ALL people there.
Hmm, maybe instead of bombing Iran (which could be fun) we should attack China economically.  Furthermore, Google, Yahoo, Cisco, and other lovely companies that support companies & turn in people that criticize the Chinese government.

Background: Yahoo! turned in a guy in China for sending Chinese media instructions somewhere to the US.  The man was arrested & sentenced to 10 yrs after Yahoo! turned him in.

Feb 2006.  Yahoo, Google, Cisco all appear before congressional committee and said that they were just complying with Chinese law.  A congressman from NJ replied "Was it right, because it was law, to turn over each Jew throughout the holocaust" (or something quite similar, I cannot recall exact words).

Even more reason I want to go into politics

This is sort of "blog" type post, make comments and what not, I want to know what you think about China

We're too reliant on China's trade to stop now. Also, wasn't it Senator McCain (or the majority leader) who said that?

Who said we're too reliant?...probably.
We need to (somehow) make reform in this area too.
Tax reform, immigration reform, international trade policy reform, there's alot to be done

I don't think China needs any outside influence. I think that eventually there will be a revolution, although probably later than sooner.

Extremely unlikely. The Chinese are a docile people, and they're used to being ruled over by other cultures; they simply absorb them. Not only that, but the sort of control the Chinese government exerts over the people is simply too great - the Communist regime killed something like fifty million people, most of whom I'd say dissented with the Communist ideals.
RLY...?

I argue that the murder of Chinese citizens by the communist regieme leaves armed revolution far more likely.

Thats just stupid, and these "logs" would be of little real value ;D. On that note, I've completed my first year of college, major in Political Science with a double major in History with two semesters of German ;D.

I have news for you Hazard: a degree in political science has little or no practical value.

Of course they would be.  Postings on the Internet (which are of course part of the public domain) are continually increasing in value.  I'm sure you've heard about the number of arrests in result of MySpace postings.  This is legal value alone.  Your future employer will have similar abilities.  Your public postings have the ability of following you around for your entire lifetime.

Gotta find me first ;)
But some of my stuff is quite sarcastic or overly exaggerated (and later labeled that by everyone + me).

If Reagan can say "We've out lawed Russia, bombing will begin in 5 minutes", I think I can get away with "maybe we need to attack China too"

Given your AIM name ("BananaRulesAll") and your e-mail address ("[email protected]") which were obtained from your public profile on this forum, I was able to discover that you live in Las Cruces, New Mexico, attended Mayfield High from 2001-2005, and are currently attending New Mexico State University.  You're a 5' 11" white, Christian, virgo named Tyler who expresses a questionable interest in girls and has extremist political views.  You own a Ford and you hate Toyota.  You're currently in a relationship with a girl named Jacque (who's a year younger than you).  Some of your friends include: Ted, Efrain, Evan, Joel and a girl named Nikki who has an interest in marijuana.  I even found a picture of your home. I can continue, but I believe that I've already acheived my goal in successfully "finding you" with a limited set of information.  Consider the possible depth of a background check.

Unlikely, to say the least - the Chinese government, if not now, used to act immediately and completely suppress rebellion. I've heard stories of entire villages being razed to the ground because of a few bad seeds. Please examine the effects of Taoism upon the Chinese culture - that'll give you insight as to why they would do such things.

Slightly disturbing, but sorta cool?
I would like to make a few corrections to my 'background check', I do like girls, I'm not as extremist as I might come off to be herre, I'm rather middle of the road".  Also, I don't hate Toyota, I hate my Honda alot of the time, but I don't think I hate Toyota.
