How the hell can you stand to have someone like Howard Dean head your party.  Having that hate-mongering retard speak for you only further alienates your party from the American voter and decreases your chance of winning back the White House.

...I was sorta liking Howie when he was running for office

Saying things like:

"Republicans have never done an honest day's work in their lives."

"Republicans are evil.  This is a war between good and evil, we are the good."

"The only Republicans that have ever done an honest day's work are prostitutes."

"Republicans are nothing but a white, Christian party."  -- says the white Christian....what a moron

"I want people with Confederate flags on their trucks to put down those flags and vote Democratic."  -- Yeah, every republican has a Confederate flag on his wall you fucking moron

"I hate Republicans and everything they stand for."  -- Yeah, this is somebody I'd want speaking for me  ::)

Electing him as their Chairman is the worst mistake the Democrats could've made.  He does nothing but soil their image.  But I've become used to the Democrats doing stupid things.  Endorsing Hilary Clinton as a presidential candidate would almost be a worse mistake than appointing Dean.  I suppose I should expect the Democratic party to do the absolute dumbest thing possible though, so I suppose she'll be running.

Why do you care? Seems like you're just trying to pick a fight. Please don't turn into Hazard.

(Note: I don't consider myself a Democrat)

My guess is that he IS a Democrat.

Personally, I like the fact that Dean is the chairman.  :)

No, I'm not a democrat, and no I'm not trying to start a fight...

You might like him, but he's destroying any chance your party has of returning to power

hismajesty

What kind of question is "Why do you care?" That's dumb, why did you care to respond?

Yes, I'm a democrat.

Yes, Dean is a douche.

No, I don't know what that scream was...

Judging from DM's splurge of posts recently I was running on the inkling that he isn't (and he confirms).

I really don't know how to classify questions, perhaps you can enlighten me with the nomenclature? I cared to respond because if you would look at the rest of my comment you would see that I said it looks like he is trying to pick a fight.  Maybe if the post wasn't worded in a Deception-esque way (see Bush is hindering the advancement of our species) I wouldn't have said anything.

I agree he is probably doing more harm than good. But I admire the decision by the Democrats because they can choose someone who is so hard-lined and outspoken instead of choosing someone who can't make up their mind or won't stand on either side of the line (irony :P).

Heh, you misunderstand.  He's not my party; that's why I like him.  :)

Ahh :)

dxoigmn:  It's a good thing to be outspoken, but you still have to be careful about what you say.  Dean is effectively alienating the average American voter, and alot of his comments are just outright ludicrous and make the Democratic party look very bad.

Arta

The Democratic & Republican parties seem to me to be just as bad as eachother. We have a much similar situation here.

Thankfully, we have a viable 3rd party :)

DarkMinion

Is that the Lousy Limey Tea-Suckin' British Bastards party?  ;D

Platforms-wise, they may be as bad as each other.  However, the Rep. party isn't nearly as bad rhetoric-wise from its officials.

Hmm....let's see, Bush stood true to his convictions.  Bush isn't so outspoken but he takes action.  Bush knows what he wants.  So, what you're saying is that there should be more leaders like Bush?

Hmm, Democrats have an odd theory on government.  Hate the man that's in office & try to run him out while secretly hoping he still wins re-election
