Funny how most of us that think that the cartoon is a disgrace and an insult to Islamic people everywhere understand that the violence these Islamic people are commiting is wrong however the people who are desensitized to the cartoon don't understand that, that it is wrong and are simply and only horrified by the violence which it seems they think is unjustified.

I agree and somewhat disagree. Destruction is not their only voice however neither is a polite note. There are other ways to address things however the complete disregard by other nations to say this is disrespectful at the least and the gall of France to REPRINT the cartoons even with the riots is simply stupid. We're not silencing anyone however sometimes it's best to keep your views to yourself or at least present them in a less offensive fashion. I think this is the primary reason for the violence. If you present such a view in such a fanatical way, you're result is analogous to that of the presenation.

Do not let Iran cloud your judgement on what Islamic people are like, you have to understand what kind of government runs Iran: the same that said the holocaust was inexistent and made up, what do you expect? If anything I'd predict Iran is DEFINETLY NOT representative of Islamic people all over the world. (This is in regard to the cartoon contest they are running in response to the Danish cartoon)
