Hmm....let's see, Bush stood true to his convictions.  Bush isn't so outspoken but he takes action.  Bush knows what he wants.  So, what you're saying is that there should be more leaders like Bush?

Hmm, Democrats have an odd theory on government.  Hate the man that's in office & try to run him out while secretly hoping he still wins re-election

Yes that is what I am saying because I speak for all democrats even though I recently said and I quote:

(Note: I don't consider myself a Democrat)

Read the thread and posts, don't be like hismajesty and conveniently ignore stuff so you can try and pull some shoddy attempt at presenting a point that has no basis to begin with. And in any case I don't speak for all democrats nor should you be putting words in my mouth. Hazard has had too much influence on these kids, they're starting to use the same lame-old argumentative techinques that we all know don't work.

Ok, I'll change that to liberal.  You seem quite liberal to me.

EDIT:
Wow, those Democrats are some jacked up people

Republicans aren't exactly better. The D & R parties are more the same than they are different, and are just as bad as eachother.

Actually, they were the exact opposite about 80 years ago (Republicans were liberal, Democrats were conservative).  For no apparent reason  they flipped :\

It depends on what your terms mean.  Republicans represent (generally) a wish to remain in the classical, Lockean conservatism with Smith/Keynes economics.

Democrats represent more the Fourier utopian liberal/Marxist economics.

However, recently, Reps have been getting more and more socialist.  I'm close to changing to Libertarian.

You've just located global warming.

How am I a utopian Marxist??  YOU'VE CONFUSED ME!  You're forgetting the Democrats who are so liberal they are conservative, and the Republicans who are so conservative they are liberal!

These arguments are starting to get really old on this forum.  It seems that everytime something worth discussing on this forum turns into an argument about democrats vs. republicans after the first few posts and never gets back on track.

This post was to discuss the Democratic chairmen and to discuss him and whether he is a viable head of the party or not, etc. etc.  Not to argue over democrats vs. republicans and bring in biased opinions which often have no support behind them.

Thread hijackers suck.

I think the democrats secretlly want the republicans to win so they throw the biggest douche bags they can find at the american people....
