Well theres no doubt im buying PSP, BuT!
should i get 360 or ps3? i know that ps3 has way better specs and all but !
xbox comes out earlier, and less cost.
I like my XBOX much more than I like any playstation console, so I would go with my gut feeling and suggest you get a XBOX 360.
How does PS3 have way better specs? I'm just wondering, they looked similiar to me.
I'm interested to see what the Nintendo Revolution will bring to the table. We haven't heard as much from Nintendo yet.
I'll probably get Xbox 360 (i might even reserve it :)).
I will most likely wait to see what good games come out for both and then buy the one with the better games. I like xbox better btw.
The PS3's specs are INCREDIBLY superior to that of the XBOX 360. But yeah, good point about the Revelution. I hope it will be as Revoltuionizing as it sounds
PS3 will have a new FF, while XBOX 360 is only getting FF XI, which has already been released for _both_ the PS and PC, not biggy on that one. PS3 will also have Devil May Cry 4, and Metal Gear Solid 4. *drool*
PS3 won't be out for a while yet, considering the PSP came out. They wouldn't want to kill their own sales by releasing two products at the same time :P
Vicious, didn't I give you that account a while back?
Nintendo/Sony are going to lose a lot of sales releasing their products next year, while Microsoft will do well I think during the Christmas season. I want the PS3, so hmmm...
Topaz: They released PSP and PS2 Slim around the same time, by the way.

Not really, PSP was out months after the PS2 SFF. I'm gunna buy a PS3 when it comes.
MS officially announced the 360 will be backwards-compatible with *select* games. Reuters article (from Slashdot):
http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?storyID=8509448&type=technologyNews
QuoteAlthough the Xbox 360 will be backward-compatible, Bach said that it won't necessarily run all of the older Xbox titles but instead, run the "top-selling" games.
In other words..
"Pay us money and we'll let your product run on XBox 360!"
XBOX 360 > PS3
Dude, PS3 controllers look like boomerangs. They always had nice controllers, what happened?

Might'ev been related to this: http://gear.ign.com/articles/599/599431p1.html
QuoteIn July, 2003, Microsoft settled with Immersion for $26 million, getting a stake in the company at the same time. Sony has decided to instead fight the lawsuit and back in September of 2004 the courts decided in favor of Immersion and ordered Sony to pay $82 million for the infringement. The new figure of $90.7 million includes $8.7 million of interest.
Wow, the Microsoft way out saves you money!
PS3 will have connectivity with PSP (which can also act as a controller :P), and from the technical demos I've seen, I want to get a PS3 over a 360.
I am interested in the new nintendo system, I hear it can play all the old games from Nes to Gamecube.
Do you know how rediculously BIG it would have to be to have all of those supported? It would be at least as big as XBox!
With your logic, a proccessor would have to be 5 times the size to be 5 times as fast.
I've read that the Nintendo Revolution's graphics won't be as good as PS3's or Xbox 360's. But to get a little bit of an edge on some aspect, they're going to have a free online gameplay service, and best of all, let you download games from previous Nintendo consoles. From Nes all the way up to GameCube, you can download thousands of games for FREE. ;D
I think I'll end up getting a Playstation 3 and a Nintendo Revolution. :)
Same here. As long as halo2 works on xbox1 it will be fine for me.

No, my logic states that 5 different processors will be 5 times bigger than 1 processor. Every Nintendo console to date has used a different cartridge system (except GCN, which uses TADs).
I will definatley get a PS3 as the graphics are suposingley cinematic. I will also probabley get an xbox aswell. Ill see closer to christmas. Im not to sure about a Revolution though. I havnt been a fan of a nintendo since I realised Pokemon was a waste of tie.
www.gametrailers.com has the tech demos for XBox and PS3.
desicion made, im going with ps3/psp :-)
oh yeah heres the specs of xbox 360

question :::
whats better gc or psp??? *note gaming wise ( not internet/music shit ) *
ps2 or xbox
I prefer PS2 over XBox, but you can't really compare a console to a handheld, it just doesn't really work.
Also, a note for the Network Controller option for PS3: that means PSP :P
I would rather get Xbox 360 for the simple reason that I never touch either versions of the playstations I wasted my money on. I support Xbox as one of the few things Microsoft did right. ::)
Xbox's gpu is more powerful (more ram at nice clock speeds.) however the psu computing power and hard drive storage is superior. as well, dual hd ports is great. Why 'seven' controllers?
Anyways..my choice is PS3...I've played with my friends psp a bunch and it rocks. The PS3 will have a shitload of sweet games. Xbox will have gears of war though....killzone 2, if its preview is truly ingame reality, will make the ps3 my purchase.
gears of war && xbox360 if killzone 2 does not show up to expectations.

All of his posts are revivals, so it won't be long till he is gone.
I really don't care about post counts, as you aparently do, by reviving old and pointless topics with mundane and pointless responses which add absolutely nothing to the thread's overall value.
He breathes life into the forums ;)
Both! :D

I agree i never did like Microsoft's products, but I was checking out xbox 360 and it does have some pretty cool features so I might get it for the hell of it.
