I know they're tough to do, I've done them before.  Gtk has an "indefinate progress bar" (I think windows does too) which isn't actually 0 - 100, it goes across multiple times.  If the status can't be guessed, then that should be used.  But if you're installing 1000 files, you should move the status bar up .1% every time, how hard can it be to know how many files you're installing?

Even if the number is not constant, you can find out with a nice little loop fairly easily right? Its just laziness.

Can you explain that one? I can't read the formula on the note, it's too small.

The students are such nerds, that instead of writing something like "Kick me" on the note, they are more amused by some mathematics.

rofl, the math is nonsence, it doesn't work, but thats not the reason its funny. The guy wanted to make it look like he proved the integral of e to x is equal to the function of u to n. In other words he wanted to make it look like he mathmatically proved that sex = fun. Look in the box

Not that I recall. If you notice he looks engrossed as though hes trying to see through the binoculars.
