How locked topics are still being discussed by the moderators actively, but everybody else with opinions are unable to post because it is locked. I think this is a good example of certain people finding it neccessary to be absolutely correct and needing to have the last word.

I didn't realize the topic was locked until I had posted my reply.  There was no grand conspiracy, Hazard.  After I posted and realized it was locked, I asked Arta about the lock and am awaiting his reply.  Is it so easy to see conspiracy in this?

Yes, it is.  Especially when there's only one moderator, a few admins, and they all seem to agree on the locked issue.
