You're right, they do look like poppies, they also look like roses to me though, and to meh. I find it hard to believe you couldn't figure out what we were talking about.

Well, it was that picture, or the pink pastel intro.gif one. There's a flower that looks much more like a rose on that one, although no leaves.

I asked him for light blue (and later got him to add dark blue to it) with straight edges.  It's exactly what I was looking for:
