Mafia Game Problem

I bought the game 'Mafia' today as I've been wanting it for sometime. It keeps hanging to the point of making me reset. I read that earlier versions had a problem with Radeon cards (I have a Radeon) and Windows XP Home/Pro SP1 Operating Systems. However, it was supposed to have been fixed in the v1.2 patch (which my game came with.) I updated my card drivers back when I had this problem with Call of Duty. I exceed all of the minimum requirements, and have Directx 9.0 or 9.1 or something :P. Does anybody have any suggestions?  :-\

No.

Anyway, I downloaded/installed updated drivers for my chipset. Everything seems to be working fine now. :)
