Upon joining a game, you request the IP/Port of the game host, then you setup a UDP socket to send data to that IP/Port. What's the first thing you send, does anybody know? My packet sniffer doesn't sniff UDP and when a friend did it for me, we got a ton of jumbled weird packets, any ideas?

Edit: Apparently there's a checksum involved in all this, does anyone have it?

Your edit first: yes, we all do.  It's built into the game.

To the rest: www.ethereal.com -- sniff it out.
This'll make an interesting test for broken AV:

I have ethereal, it didn't work, other than that I got 0x03 working in UDP, but what about that checksum?
