thanks to those of you who attempted to help me the other day. I figured out my problem was hashing the right thing. Problem was a variable I had declared as local and was clearing after the sub ran so it wasn't being passed so it was hashing just a blank space. Whoops my fault. Sorry for any interuption i apprecaited the help.
