C++ Bots

Are there any bots that have been made in C++ or VC++? Just wondering, because it seems like every one on battle.net knows VB and does not take the time to learn a strongly typed language :-/

Yes. Most of the good bots, for which source is not released, are in C or C++. Such as these:

ZeroBot

Oic, but the source is not released for them, so I can not use them to learn how to make one of my own.

Mine also was written in C++. The source has not been released, either (and I don't plan on doing so any time soon).

However, if you post a question related to a specific problem (and contribute to addressing the problem yourself) people will usually help you out...

ZeroBot was leaked, well not the source code just the binary.

Yes, the majority bot developers program in VB. However there are some C++ bot sources at warz site, and I do have vLBBot source if you would like it. The author of zDS (Eurijk!) released the source to his chat bot Prolix. Found at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/prolix/prolix/
