Does anyone else think [vL] (Thing) hosting an IRC server would be a good idea? For one there easier to moderate than alot of other things, there also a good place to take advantage of some features a forum lacks on, such as instant messaging. I understand that there is already a vL channel on b.net for almost the same reason, but afterall it's just an idea.

We use Battle.net and Botnet for chatting.  It has all the functionality we need.
