The Mathematica language?

Does anyone here have any experience with the Mathematica language?

I am learning (my keypresses in Mathematica consist of mostly F1) but there are things I haven't found how to do.

Just thought I'd ask before posting some complete questions so I wouldn't waste time typing them.

I don't know that language. We used maple and matlab for our math classes. Too bad you don't allow those languages.
