Satan

Hi thanks for having me.

Possibly Grok or Acid or iago might vaguely recall my name having come up before?

I am $atan of Clan www.FTB.8k.com We are a small but long standing backstab clan in Star Craft.
I have enjoyed Starcraft these last 4 years, and it is still a part of my regular routine as much as a fraging in TFC.
There has been a change in my gaming routine though. I moved to Thailand last December. So now sometimes instead of gaming all day I will go down to Pat-Pong or Soi cowboy and let the Thai hookers play with my balls. :o
Downside I no longer have broadband. When I was in Canada, I was scraping so feverishly to save money for my new life that I never did buy a CD-burner.
So now I am without many of the utilities I had grown comfortable with and am having to rediscover.
One thing that I have searched endlessly for, am in desperate need of , but have not been able to locate is the file one of you fine gentlement created that automatically expands the gateway selection for StarCraft. I so so so need this!!!!!!!
I am indeed begging. I realize that I could learn how to manually edit this, spend hours collecting the various gateways and load them myself. But I am a fat old man out of touch with these sciences. Oh ye masters of the technology..  Anyone got a copy of it on some CD Rom laying dusty in the back of their closet somewhere ?
A real email address can be suplied if you happen to feel mercifu.
Sincer gratitude

That's an olde file.. I can tell you how to do it manually without too much trouble, though!

First, you need the ip's.. go to cmd and do this:
QuoteMicrosoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

C:\Documents and Settings\Ron>nslookup
Default Server:  RON.mshome.net
Address:  192.168.0.1

> useast.battle.net
Server:  RON.mshome.net
Address:  192.168.0.1

(or you can just use those.. heh)

Then run regedit.exe or regedt32.exe, and edit the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Battle.net\Configuration
in there, change "Battle.net gateways" to:
1001
[some number, I use 6]
[server ip]
[server name]
[next number]
[next ip]
[next name]
...etc

then save it, and it should expand your list.

Good luck!
This'll make an interesting test for broken AV:
