Why is US East's time off?

Why are the Bnet servers set to GMT?

They've been like that forever, =/. All four servers are set to GMT0.

The exact times have always been slightly off. I remember checking the time once when playing WC3 ladder and it said i was running late for work. Quit out of the game and looked at my desktop time and i still had 10-15 minutes.

If you're trying to whisper the user named "time" with the message "what time is it?" then yes, the function is correct.
