Do NOT get the Liteon drive... they're terrible! LG has worked the best for me.

Been using this for maybe seven months now, no problems. Excellent drive

Those are both fine, but you don't need the lightscribe.

I recommend you do more reading about the P5B Deluxe.  Just google you'll find many complaints about high temperatures.  I almost bought the same board today and decided all these complaints couldn't be ignorant users.

Decided to go with the ASUS P5W DH DELUXE INTEL 975X CHIPSET instead.  $185 at www.mwave.com, appears to be a somewhat superior board (and better chipset for gaming) than the one you listed, all for $5 more.

The Power Supply unit is one of the most important purchases you can make.  The Case+PSU you linked has a complaint about the PSU blowing up.

I highly recommend you purchase a case that you can use for many years, and separately purchase a power supply unit that is highly rated.  A bad PSU can shorten the life of all your other components.  Read power supply reviews at www.tomshardware.com and let the experts recommend a tested one.  They include economical choices in their reviews, too.
