No Boot Devices Found

I recently bought an SATA controller card and new SATA hard drive to replace my old IDE drive when it died.  But my BIOS doesn't seem to recognize them as bootable devices.  It recognizes the TFTP boot agent on my network card, so this kind of thing must be possible... but how do I get it to see the drive?

Did you try setting the BIOS to try 'other boot devices'?

No such option.  It only lets me set the boot priority on the ones it recognizes.

My motherboard has two SATA sockets - one for secondary and one for boot. Make sure you have it plugged in the right one.
