Well, in all truth this isn't safe for anyone.

I was just googling for a get firefox logo to put on my site, and this came up first page, WITH SAFESEARCH. Seriously, wtf?

Huh?

Yes...I searched for "firefox." After putting "get firefox," I still didn't see it. Then, I turned safesearch to moderate and I saw it...what the hell?
Pie?

rabbit

"get firefox", not "firefox"!
Grif: Yeah, and the people in the red states are mad because the people in the blue states are mean to them and want them to pay money for roads and schools instead of cool things like NASCAR and shotguns.  Also, there's something about ketchup in there.

Tried it.  "get firefox" only gives it with SafeSearch off (moderate, not strict), and only with the URL from the image...

I clear my website cache almost daily. So having no changes made to the google image preferences, being just on defaults. It came up with that.

"Strict SafeSearch is on" seems to be a nice solution to me. It could perhaps block other "inappropriate" sites when undesired (doeesn't necessarily mean port guys).

FrOzeN

lol, google removed it per my request. :P
