I'd go with iago's suggestion at this point.

[13:41:45]<@Fapiko> Why is TehUser asking for wang pictures?
[13:42:03]<@TehUser> I wasn't asking for wang pictures, I was looking at them.
[13:47:40]<@TehUser> Mine's fairly short.

2ndly, I guess I removed most of the threat? Now McaFee wont uninstall...it comes to an error when I say to uninstall...AND its always running in processes so I cant manually delete...any suggestions?

Oh, an error occured? That's all. Don't be so vague. An error can be anything. Show the exact error message. Perhaps it is possible that you were stupid and deleted McAfee configuration files needed for the uninstallation process in some type of an attempt to remove all McAfee related files/directories? Did you try installing McAfee over the current installation and then uninstalling?

By the sounds of it, his computer is infected by malware.  It wouldn't be that surprising because I think (?) they discontinued support for Windows 2000 (I could be wrong) so you might be missing important patches.  Which is fine if you don't visit malicious sites, but if you start going to porn or other stuff like that you might end up with crap installed.

Anyway, enough spyware/malware/viruses can make a computer do stupid things.  There comes a point when you just have to give up and re-format it.

I'd recommend buying a copy of Windows XP.  It's only about what, $250 now?

Mkay mr. "I have money" I dont have a job so XP is out of the question..im still leaning to something infecting my pc cause its lagging for no reason at times for a matter of seconds, 1-5 are average lags. But nothing TOO severe, I got rid of Mcafee by removing the registry and making it crash n such, but I still prolly have malware, I ran the "E" program, it found a buncha stuff, any other good spyware/adware/malware programs?

yeah you are right about win2k having no support anymore. i read it a few days ago on softpedia. however i have seen unofficial update packs that contain all the security patches and whatnot.

IIRC, winXP costs about 60 bucks or less. that's how much i got it for when i bought mine 2 years ago

edit:the only Anti-Anything programs that i use is, AVG, SpywareBlaster, and Spybot(scan, fix, then immunize)

Mystical

If you can't afford to keep up with new versions of Windows, why do you run it?  Wouldn't it make more sense to use a free operating system?  And for the record, I don't currently have a job and I think it would be dumb to pay a lot of money for an OS.  I currently run Linux and FreeBSD.

In terms of malware programs, here are the top 3 in order of general preference:
- AdAware
- Spybot Search and Destroy
- Windows' Spyware Tool

Any of them can be found with Google.  Keep in mind that it will probably be back before long, if it is even removed at all.  Some of them burrow pretty deep.

I also recommend changing browsers to FireFox.  Since you are on Windows 2000, and I don't think that MS supports Windows 2000 anymore, you're stuck with a vulnerable browser unless you stop using Internet Explorer.  So using FireFox, Mozilla, or Opera would be a good idea.

Perhaps I'd be able to go over your house with my XP Home install disc ($200, not $250. XP Pro was $300) and an activation crack then install it for you. :)

You could try disabling services that you don't use.

"MSConfig => Services" or "Administrative Tools => Services"

Look for ones that you don't use, and if you aren't sure what a service is, google it.
