Today (March 14th, aka 3.14) Pi Day is celebrated throughout the world.
Pi is an irrational transcendental number (approximately 3.14) with deep meaning in geometry, being among other things the ratio between a circle's circumference and its diameter.
There are many formulas and approximations for calculating Pi.

Incidentally, Pi Day also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday, and today he is 124 years old.

Hey Yoni, do you have two computers, one for English and one for Hebrew?  Or do you have some type of exotic alt+tab to switch between languages?  Also, how many digits has Pi been calculated to?
That sucking sound you hear is my bandwidth.

Starting with Win2k, Microsoft added Hebrew to the list of languages supported natively by Windows.
The version of Win2k I use (Win2k Professional) is identical to the one that is sold in USA. (This is unlike Win98, for example, which has a special Hebrew version sold in Israel.)

My sister's computer does have a special version of Win2k on it though - "Win2k Hebrew Localized". This makes the GUI and everything Hebrew as well. (I'll take a screenshot later.)

QuoteAlso, how many digits has Pi been calculated to?
Many. (The world record set by the Computer Centre in the University of Tokyo is 206.1 billion digits.)

Yes, you can't have everybody...contributing to the main source repository.  That would be stupid and create chaos.

Opensource projects...would be dumb.

I wouldn't say it's free. You need Windows to run it.

You can run it on a Mac. http://www.microsoft.com/mac/download/

I don't think you'll ever see it ported to Linux though  ::)

Except for the URL in that window, it just looks like the screen has been horizontally flipped.
