I was jsut wondering, I know how to use misc. programs to make .iso, .mds, .cce, and .cue types of images. But they all come out to be 200+ MB. Well I was sent an image file for Halo PC (Yes I have the full ver of Halo), It's a .img file. It was only 22.26MB, How was this done?
I like to loadup my vareus CDs on a vurtual drive so that I can save the actuall CDs some wear & tear. But I'd rather not use 1/2 a gig for each CD. (Some are in the 600MB range). So does anyone know a way to make small image files that still work on virtual drives?

It has to make an image of the CD-ROM. There's no way to get around the large size.

Well how do you make one where it simply looks like the CD. AE, name, files, etc.. But has no data in the files? Like the .img file.

Just create blank files and rename them.
