it will work. and i doubt its /6667 because thats a port number and on my browser, for cPanel, i have to use blah.net:8025.

edit:wow. SMF doesnt support automatic linking for irc like IPB does .

Might I ask what the point of +s is, if you're advertising the channel in three different areas of these forums, and 75% of the visitors on that server are there for you?

+s is not set and I don't know who set it if it was ever set. I don't understand about the 75% of visitors being there for me part.
