Is there a way to move space from one partition to another? My c drive is for essential things only, e is for games etc. I want to move atleast 20gigs from c to e, same physical harddrive, two partitions.

Maybe, but I think a good question would be how can I move space that is not occupied by files? How do you know you will not be moving space that a windows file resides on  :-X

Yes; Partition Magic.

I highly recommend defragging before you use PM.  :)  Things should move more quickly.

PM fragged my HD massively, I had to reformat via DOS and then start over!

PM is dangerous. It will either work, or totally screw up your partitions. Make sure you back up first and don't be surprised if you have to format and start over.

Agreed. PartitionMagic completely fucked over a partition I had prepared for music.

That's happpend to me... twice. I figured it was just a fluke and tried it the next time I needed to change the partitions. Well, that was a bad idea.

Although I managed to fix the partition table both times. I think. At least once.
