Open up your computer and make sure all the fans are working, if not then you would need to replace them.

I just said that, and I think other said it before me :)

I'd start the computer in safe mode and run an updated virus scan. To start in safemode reboot and press f8

My computer is Sony Vaio... it seems that i cant open the computer by myself.. or i just cant get it to open... its got no screws and the cover just doesnt slide.. and even if i did get it to open..   i dont know a damn thing about computers so i wouldn't know whats what and what to look for..

My final recommendation... Reformat, if it still happens go back to the company you bought it from. You should have it under warranty, describe what happens to them, and they should be able to find out what's wrong.

If it's not under warranty, you've just learned a valuable lesson for the next computer you purchase. I'm sure somebody can tell you how to replace a powersupply.

Sony's come with warrenty, don't they?  Can you still take it back to the store for repairs?

so im thinkin.. where can i find a decent one?

aznjunno

i mean what kind of power supply should i get?

Go to bestbuy or similar store, tell them your problem, I'd recommend over 400watts.

I'd recommend taking your entire tower to the nearest computer repair store and explaining the problem to them.  They will definately more help than us, since they have the means to physically test it.
