In my opinion they were very powerful. Especially Zell Millers, I was very impressed by both Miller and Cheney. Miller's words were very stern and his face added to the seriousness. Cheney's was awesome too, but I still enjoyed Miller's much more. I really think those speeches combined could easily make the swing voters that watched start leaning more to the right.

Thoughts? (I'd prefer comments from people who actually watched it as opposed to those who didn't.) :P

Off Topic:
In addition, this afternoons speech by Kerry made me laugh a few times. It seems Kerry is for the war again, and for buying the stuff he voted against now. He's now planning to send 47,000 more troops out around the world, oh how his opinions are changing. He's got a ton of plans for America, I'd like to know how he's planning to pay for them.

Zell Miller is a Republican on most issues. I think he's just a Democrat to protest partisan issues.

I'm watching MSNBC now, this is hilarious...Zell Miller seems pretty angry.

QuoteThis is your program, and I'm a guest on it, so I'm trying to be as nice as I can, but I wish I was a little bit closer so I could get up in your face.

Conversely, John McCain is a Democrat on most issues.

QuoteEvery generation of humans believed it had all the answers it needed, except for a few mysteries they assumed would be solved at any moment. And they all believed their ancestors were simplistic and deluded. What are the odds that you are the first generation of humans who will understand reality?

After 3 years, it's on the horizon.  The new JinxBot, and BN#, the managed Battle.net Client library.

I'd recommend everybody turn on MSNBC, this is hilarious.

QuoteGET OUT OF MY FACE! IF YOU'RE GOING TO ASK ME A QUESTION, LET ME ANSWER IT. I WISH WE WERE BACK IN THE DAY WHEN I COULD CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL

QuoteSenator, can I ask you a question? No no, you ask me a question and then don't give me a chance to answer it, you just talk over me. Well, let me ask you this. Are you gonna shut up if you ask me it?

Damn, missed it.

Hopefully this will be uploaded somewhere. Miller was (rightfully) avoiding a yes or no question, but it was hilarious nonetheless. Chris Matthews got owned, either way.

Edit: Here is a transcript of Miller's speech. There's a video on msnbc.com (go to news videos) I haven't found a video of Miller's interview but if I do I'll post it!

Have you watched the cbs coverage, its great! Agenda setting at its finest, they covered the dnc well, and did not cover the guys running up and down the street dressed like flipper or the protesters there, yet they are focusing more on the protestoers then the nrc now. They are showing their true colors right now, trying to deamonize bush.

I think the protesters hurt John Kerry more than help him.

Protestors are anything but peaceful, at least when they're surrounded by people who disagree with their views. It really shows these peace loving patriots true colors, eh?

I can't say it's only the left though. Today at the Youth convention, a group of lefties breached security and got in the middle of everybody and raised their signs. The conservatives pushed one of the gusy - but these were people aged 16-18 which, imo, is a lot different than a 40 year old pushing a 17 year old as shown in pw videos.
