I'm just curious on what kind of computers everyone is using...

[vL] : What kind of computer are you running the BNLS server off of, or is it multiple computers?

-- Sorry if this topic has already been covered, i poked around but didn't see it.

That sucking sound you hear is my bandwidth.

My family used to own a Gateway 2000 486/66. It was a heavy, three foot full tower with a tape backup drive and a 5.5" floppy drive on it.. I first played Commander Keen on that machine oh so long ago. :)  I think it's at my grandparents house now.

Oh, sorry, I thought the question was what runs [vL].
:p

Apparently at my friend's work they have an an ancient 486 (I assume it's running DOS) that has an uptime of 18 years.  Nobody's really sure what it does, but nobody really wants to turn it off just in case it's still doing its job :)

Smarty pants!

The computer I'm on now:
-233MHz Intel Pentium proccessor for blazing fast speed!
-32MB of SDRAM for all my computing needs!
-A whopping FOUR GIG HARDDRIVE so I'll never run out of space!
-And Windows 95 operating system, which never fails to bluescreen only when it counts the most.
*cough*

Computer at my other house:
-1.4Ghz (or something like that...)
-256MB RAM (not sure of the type, DDR?)
-80GB of harddrive space
-WindowsME

Planning on building a more up-to-date computer for gaming...
