- They are historically useful to the UN.
- They provide us with a border we do not need to protect (militarily anyways).
- They provide us with mass amounts of decent weed that is easier to get into the country than the shit that comes from Mexico. (This of course is up to discussion on whether it is beneficial or not)

- I don't care about the rest of Canada, but someone from Newfoundland invented the optical mouse.
- On 9/11 planes were rerouted to a city in Newfoundland and all passengers were given food and a place to sleep (some American soldiers came over here last year serving free beverages for us to show their gratitude).

lol! - It's been like 10 degrees here  in nothern Illinois all day...

-29 degrees celsius here in Toronto.... too cold.....    

To the americans who can't figure it out, that's around -20 degrees fahrenheit.

-40's before windchill in manitoba this week.  almost -60 with windchill.

I heard, that's cold. lol Edminton had it -50 or something, somewhere in that area(geologically)
