SDK? Yeah I was... CS is not a game of it's own, it's a mod, so it seems logical enough to me that it would be recreated as a mod of HL2.

Yes, but you do realize that Valve has control of Counter-Strike and they are developing HL2.  Therefore, they have access to the code and can easily create a CS mod while working on the engine.

Sorry that wasn't clear, I was asking what SDK was and was responding to the other question with "yeah, i was...".

Kamakazie, doesn't that make it it's own game now then? Bah that seems kinda gay.

No, it can still be a mod.  SDK stands for Software Developers Kit which (for HL) can be found @ http://collective.valve-erc.com/

How is it a mod if CS2 is developed on HL2 engine, but not on the game itself? It would be it's own game... Bah, oh well it's just something new.
