Um we're not talking personal conversation.

So you mean it would be irrelevant if John Kerry and Bush met up in private, John Kerry told Bush that there were no WMD in Iraq, and thereafter Bush goes out and tells the world that there *are* WMD in Iraq?

We'd have no documentation of that, anyway. Why exactly are you trying to turn this around on me? Maybe you didn't read the first post but this thread isn't supposed to to turn into just another debate topic, DM asked the Democrats/Liberals specifically to answer two questions because he was trying to prove a point. Seeing as how I'm certainly not anything near liberal, I simply posted the point I thought he was trying to make.

NO, I don't believe Bush lied to the public, I believe he did what he felt necessary.

YES, I voted for GWB.

Well, his second request didn't ask for a yes/no answer. He asked whether we think John Kerry is a liar, so we are now supposed to theorize and think about that. I.e. back to a debating thread...

DarkMinion

Actually, Adron, the point of the thread was that the original quote I provided was actually from John Kerry, not GWB.  And well before Bush had anything to say about it, I might add.

Ah, liars the whole bunch then. When is America ever going to get some trustworthy leaders? Never I guess... Wouldn't be American...

It wouldn't be political.
QuoteEvery generation of humans believed it had all the answers it needed, except for a few mysteries they assumed would be solved at any moment. And they all believed their ancestors were simplistic and deluded. What are the odds that you are the first generation of humans who will understand reality?

We have one.

To answer the original questions:

1. It's hard to say.  On one hand, Bush was misinformed.  On the other, he should have realized it.
2. Neither.  Even if I lived there, I don't think I would have voted for either.  They both suck. :)

How do you realize you're being misinformed when the information you have points one way?
e.g. Hey iago, I have my phone in my pocket, PSYCH, my pocket is empty!
