Set up a WINS server and configure NetBIOS over TCP/IP.

You're both correct: The Controlled Substance Act addresses the use of illicit drugs at the federal level.

The proposed limitations on marijuana use in the state of Nevada are listed on the proposition's main page, which can be found here.

SSHR needs a CD-Key.

wrong.
Then why does my SSHR case have a key on it and the installer ask for a key?
You have a case for Starcraft Shareware?

IIRC, you can install it from the original StarCraft CD.

This thread has been successfully transformed into the mac logon method thread. Fun.

You honestly didn't have faith in anyone here (besides a few) actually solving this, did you?

I think that he's more concerned with the work ethic than the actual ability to produce.

Also, it doesn't update on the client side. It just downloads different files than it did before. Since the files are never stored for longer than it takes to run them, they're not part of the program, thus, not updated. I guess it's actually a matter of opinion, and NOT IMPORTANT.

The client only downloads the checkrevision files if one does not currently exist in BNCache.dat or if the one that does exist is outdated.

No, they did use a patch. They've done it before too. They refer to it as patching on the server-side, as opposed to what is a normal "patch" to us, a clientside patch. For those who don't know (none of you?), CheckRevision is done completely independant of the game itself, except for downloading and calling it, but from a DLL downloaded over Battle.net File Transfer Protocol.

I'm not sure where my old post went, but I feel this is still constructive to ask: UserLoser, does your bot work following this patch, still?

EDIT -
If someone can get me a few packet logs of S>C 0x50, and if available, the corresponding A, B, C values for the valuestrings after decoding, that'd be nice.

You can't refer to an update as purely server-side if it requires updates be made on the client-side as well.

Unless your broadband modem supports NAT/NAPT, you will have to return the hub and purchase a router.

If the CPU failed, wouldn't the problem be addressed during POST?

Computer Support Issues / Dead Computer
October 11, 2006, 04:55 PM
When waking up one morning, I discovered that there was a frozen Windows Explorer window on my screen so I rebooted my computer.  The computer failed to reboot, displaying the BIOS logo screen and then freezing after the first status message appeared displaying my CPU information.

I turned off the computer, reseated the memory and cleared the CMOS via the on-board jumper.  The computer then failed to start at all.  I've removed all of the components, and purchased a new power supply.  After installing a POSTCard, I've discovered that the system haults before even entering POST (0x00).  Does this entail the demise of my motherboard or may there be another possible problem that I am currently unaware of?

I knew that would come in handy sooner or later... it seems to just be the individual keys that were changed.  I must depart, but if when I return no one has discovered them, I'll check for them.

Well I was thinking more about the rockets...but okay.

The rockets are extremely short-range (20-30 miles) by what I last heard.

The MPQs each contain a nearly identical copy of the CheckRevision() function, which is used to compute the checksum of the three main game files.  The only difference, as MyndFyre mentioned, is that each MPQ uses its own unique seed value.  You can discover these values by extracting the dynamic libraries from each MPQ and reverse engineering or, more simply, comparing them.  If you compare the various libraries, you'll be able to quickly discover the values.

Do you know what causes it though? It isn't from failed logon attempts.

Yes it is.
