The gnome copy cats are taking over bnet lol. Were like were be the real gnome =P
Should be back as soon as BNLS comes back :)
Wha... BNLS is still down? Spht aren't you supposed to maintain it? What's wrong with BNLS in the first place? I may never get a chance to test my 0x1a code now ;(
Spht can't turn on the server no matter how much access he has to it.
Just use a BNLS clone
*PUNT*

I like how they're all "gnomes"...gold!
Edit: Modified ClanGnome article (http://www.bnetwiki.org/wiki/ClanGnome) to reflect this trend
oh god, another one
[12:43:14 AM] <To TJOC.Gnome@Azeroth> FAKE GNOME #4 FAKE GNOME #4
Maybe I should keep up with the competition!
Any ideas for more statistical information the web site could show? What information would you like to know about Battle.net clans that ClanGnome could figure out during its travels?
this one is rigged: http://warlock.brent.googlepages.com/gnome
It has a most abused by list and other stats clangnome doesn't collect, but likes to spam its masters plugins url lol... aka spamgnome
Can it (or does it already) show when clans were created?

Those statistics are quite flawed.
1) It doesn't forget clans. Many of the clans that are listed on the web site have probably expired, or even re-created by someone else, making a lot of the information inaccurate.
2) "Highest level clans" is flawed. If the bot saw 3 members with average level of 30, and another clan with 20 members with average level of 25, then the clan with 20 members should be considered "highest level clan."
3) "Most talkative clans" is highly unreliable to the point where it's useless
4) "Least intimate" is possibly flawed. Does it keep track of all the members of a guild or something? How does spotting a member outside the clan make that clan less intimate? To ClanGnome, an "intimate" clan is one whose channel contains the highest ratio of members to visitors (and takes into account a couple other things).
5) It spits out raw stats when spoken to (or .commanded) on Battle.net, which isn't very gnomish!

ClanGnome doesn't, no. There's a link to a clan's Battle.net profile on the stats page though, which contains the creation date.

It spits out that data, then if you keep spamming it, it will say other things but its not very humorous. pawngnome insults clans, and hdxgnomie copys some of clangnome's sayings but has its own little jokes 2 lol. TJOC.Gnome just says hi and bye, but I haven't been around when it comes to spam it to death xD
Found another one (http://onthefly.co.nr/) (visited my channel)
Let's see...
QuoteThe ClanGnome has last been seen hanging around public channels, but not my clan channel.
What does that mean?
QuoteThe bot is almost like Spht's except it is meant to be quicker and be more in-your-face with it's data.
Quicker huh? The web site says it's aware of 721 clans, and it'll take the bot 2 hours and 24 minutes to do a run. But I just saw ClanGnome finish its Lordaeron run (1000 clans) in less than 2 hours :)
Now, regarding that "it-your-face with it's data"? What does that mean? Is this another gnome that spits out its raw stats on Battle.net when you talk to it? Or is he referring to the web site? All I see is a big ugly black and white table that contains a lot of numbers! Check out ClanGnome's stats (http://www.valhallalegends.com/spht/clangnome/?id=stats)! (which as of today contains a new ranking category--nontraditional clans!)
Next!
Its a fly, boo fly chasing sucks lol
lawnmowers > flyswatters =P
Ughhh, that data is soo unorganized on the fly page gg eyes xD
ClanGnome 4 lyfe
OMG ClanGnome was just in Open Tech Support@UsWest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do all 4 ClanGnomes combine to form Gnometron?
I never see clangnome in Op channels? :|

Yeah. Spht, you should write OpGnome.

You missed the e-sarcasm.
Web site (http://www.valhallalegends.com/spht/clangnome/?id=stats) has been upgraded largely
gnome upgrade = one step closer till it becomes self aware and enslaves us to run around and gather clan data TT
I would suggest adding maybe a default option on the "Build your own rankings", so that way you can get back to whatever the system started out showing.

What do you mean?
Right now, the two default rankings that are displayed for each gateway can be replicated through the build rank feature. In the future, I'm going to have special analytical rankings that can not be replicated so it will be unique. I'm also planning on a "Gnome Rank" system that will include the top 5 clans per gateway (how those clans will be picked is not decided yet), and give them some sort of recognition in the individual clan page
ClanGnome collects a lot more information now, so any suggestions about new rankings the web site could have, or more information that can be showed on individual clan pages is welcome

When you first go to the Stats page, it sorts clans by Evening and Member Volume. I was suggesting adding an extra option in the drop down bar labeled "Default", which would bring back the rankings which are shown to start.
Just saw ClanGnome in Diablo USA-1 in us west... odd place for him to be.
Did you take a screen shot?
