It looks more like a freestyle bike than a BMX bike. In BMX you don't need the special wiring so your handle bars can go all the way around (forgot what it is called, a gyro[?], it's been so long :P), nor do you need pegs. In fact, pegs are usually against the rules to having in BMX racing. I never really liked Mongoose since I was more of a dirt jumper and mongoose forks tend to bend easily.
Maybe its called a freestyle bike but people around here call it a bmx. But anyway, suggest i buy it? It's a very nice bike :)
I got my new bike now. Its a dark blue HARO F2. Heres a black one:

My mountain bike (http://www.raleigh-canada.ca/images/products/Summit.jpg) owns yours :-P
Mine's doing well, considering I've put 30km on it every day for the last 3 months. That's almost 1000km (700 miles) :)
Wow nice bike. :)
My bmx does jumps and everything though (always likes to flip me over and crack my neck haha :P )
I like your bike, but i like mine more. :P
edit: 1111 post.
I got mine for street riding, mostly, and I'm pretty sure that if I did a jump it would fall apart. Something about 260 pounds landing on a bike that it probably wouldn't like.

I am. It's a genetic thing, as far as I can tell. I've been riding 30 km/day for the last 3 months, and my weight is unchanged.
Maybe it's the chicken with waffles that's doing you in...
Nope, the tv commericial just told me its cortisol. That must be your problem.
:o First puncture :o Noooooooo! No bike for a day. I get it back tommorow anyway. Yay. :) I hate punctures. :(

I had a moongoose and hated it. I prefer schwin or specialized personally.
I purchased a schwinn from a local chainer (walmart? not sure). It rode like a badass.
Pssh, I was expecting to see a Suzuki or a Honda, not a bicycle!
Second that~ YZF-R1 ftw.
You so can't compete with my new bike:

Stupid Canadian bikes.

My real bike is made by Raleigh, which is either in the UK or USA. I'm guessing USA.
Stupid Canadian bike riders.
Saw this in Wired in a while ago: http://www.treehugger.com/files/2005/05/slingshot_bicyc.php
Looks cool, the bottom part of the frame is actually a cable, and you can fold it in half and then lock the cable to a bike rack or some anchoring device at hand.
Sweet bikes!
I blew a tire twice yesterday. The tire was warped, so it was rubbing, and the second time was just pointless. So I wasted $4 on a tube, ohwell.
I got a new tire + tube, and now it's ok.
I'm now biking to school. It's 22km each way, so I'm doing about 44km/day. That's more than 27 miles/day. :)
For terry fox day thats coming up, you should bike accross Manitoba (From left to right).

Pssh, my grandpa still owns you. ~40 miles in ~2 hours (straight) for practice. :P

Every day?
Most days, sometimes he only does like 30. Sometimes he doesn't have time to ride, or he's under the weather, or something like that, but he rides as much as he can.
Afterwards he often swims in the pool.
Although I'm reasonably sure I could ride ~40 in a setting, it would be difficult. My main problem is my bum gets sore from sitting on a hard seat for so long, so I'd have to invest in another seat. Second, I'm riding a mountain bike, which is considerably harder than riding a bike designed for streets.
But yeah, I'm happy enough with my 45km/day :)
Yeah, his is made for riding long distance at fast speeds, on a road.
It's similar to this one, only it's the one that Lance Armstrong used a year or two ago in the tour:
He also uses "butt cream" (not sure of the REAL term, that's what they call it) which probably helps cut down on some of the strain, and when he sprints he sits up, so that helps too I guess. Also, I suspect it's less comfortable in regular clothes instead of ones designed for riding with pads and stuff. You're still like 45 years younger than him though! :P

Yeah the Suzuki (http://www.hizone.info/data/2003/01/08/images/hyabusa.jpg) Hyabusa (http://www.ronniecowan.co.uk/hyabusa%20clocks.jpg) is pretty sweet and owns
anything on the road
I'm sure he paid more than $220 (Canadian) for his bike, and the quality of a bike does make a huge difference :P
But anyway, like I said, I COULD bike as much as him, but I just don't have the time. Plus, my butt would hurt :)
I'm not sure, but I think I've seen you biking in the ness area....
My dad rides for Kings Lynn and norfolk. He is in the news paper here. He came 2nd out of about 100 riders, and done alot of miles very fast. (Forgot miles / speed.)
Edit: He rides a racing bike. He has Armstrong's bike. I forgot his first name.. But also has another bike but i dunno what make. :P

Very possible, I ride down ness every day.
But if it was really me, then you'd know what color helmet I wear!?
silver helmet.

Dark Blue(or Navy) with a black visor.

See, by telling him the answer you defeat the purpose. I'm reasonably sure he hasn't seen the picture of me :)

Well, you did make it pretty easy. Took around, 10 seconds to find, anyway if he knew he would have posted the solution by then. ;)
Compared to your guys' biking distances, I suck. I begin cramping after the first 15 seconds of sprinting. :-\
I rode home from school today in sub-zero (well, sub-32 farenheit) weather. It wasn't so bad, but my back brake broke :)

Broke, as in stopped working? Did you find that out first-hand from a fall? :)
No, it just became very very loose, so when I push (pull? squeeze? apply?) it, nothing happens. I still have a front break, and I discovered it going at low speed, so it's all good.
Cool.
