Sexy new forum software!

I don't know about new, but it's certainly not sexy.

A fair number of things have changed that I just can't pinpoint. One thing is the text size; it just doesn't fit anymore. I also noticed how the quoted areas were a lot different (fucked up, IMHO) than previously.

I also can't help but notice that the forum feels a lot more sluggish in general. Not only clientside, but serverside too. It's as if a single SMF page takes longer for the server to process than the previous equivalent did.

There is one up-side... I like the quick-reply option; I've liked it in other forums, and I think I'll like it here. Though, the other forums that I've seen a quick-reply box had a quick-reply link too..., where you could click on that link for a post, and it'll fill in the quick reply box with a quote of that message.


Edit: Also, it seems to have removed my (custom) avatar, and decreased the allowed number of characters in your signature (thus it cut the signature I had...).

If you hit "reply with quote" and quickreply is set to "on", it'll do that.

I actually found it loads quicker for me, at least at work (we have a really slow proxy), so I don't know
