I've reinstalled Linux, and it looks like this now:

I'm using a lightweight window manager called WindowMaker, and I rather like it.  It's missing a couple little things, but considering that it takes up no ram and no processor time, it's pretty sweet.  

Also note that on AIM I renamed everybody, because I'm like that.  So you can't go around messaging my contacts
