I just realized you guys are talking about 3.5" floppy drives.  Why keep calling them 3inch?

And btw, the "old 5inch" were 5.25" as well.

At first I thought you were talking about hard drives, and were confused about the .85" ones being 3" instead of 3cm, (which wouldve been 2cm but hey .. nothing about your post was right so assumptions were flying around).
