Which version of VB?  VB6 or VB.NET?  What type of applications do you plan to write?  Database programs or games?  Console or GUI?

Grok, VB6. I'm thinking about learning more and starting to write games. Right now with the little knowledge of VB6 that I have, I'm currently making a chat client for b.net.  :-\

That's sad. But anyway, I think you just have to browse around, I have some links to some very good eBooks and .chm type file books. Private message me and I'll give you some links to some ftp's and websites. Just look at some of them, like grok said in some other post concerning this topic, read the first 25 pages, and if it's easy to read and you feel you get the grasp of what their talking about then, make a list of the one's you like.

Try your library, Book store, Computer Store, Online, through Kazaa(be careful) or ask your dad or mom if he/she deals with computers as a job, for some books. But you also have to realize that by just reading the book, for example, Learning C++ in 21 days, it takes way more than 21 days to fully grasp a language. I'm sure skywing didn't take 21 days to get where he is now. I bet he's been programming for more than 5 years.
