How old is that?
About 8 1/2 years.
You can tell it's from december '00, as per the filename.

Windows 95 or newer.  3.1 didn't have the "X" in the top right - it only had minimize and maximize/restore.  (Except Encarta 95, if memory serves, which ported the Win95 look to 3.1).

And they all believed their ancestors were simplistic and deluded. What are the odds that you are the first generation of humans who will understand reality?

After 3 years, it's on the horizon.  The new JinxBot, and BN#, the managed Battle.net Client library.

3.1 lol  It's probably Win 95 or 98x with custom style.  I used to have screen shots when I played on my 95 but I don't have the HDD from that computer anymore =(

I will look on some old HDD's to see if I have any oldies. ;D

On another note, does SC/BW even support 3.1 ?  :-\ (In terms of the actual game, not 3rd party programs)

MyndFyre

Nah, it doesn't.  SC required DirectX which was part of Win9x.

(For reference for you young'uns this is Win3.  It's not b.net, but it's still epic:

Thanks. I'm only on my phone and was also on my phone when I made that post so I was unable to check. I might have some very old SS's. I'll check tonight after work.

I can only find screenshots that go back to December of 2002. I used to have a screenshot of this somewhere, but I have a text document of Skywing's old stats taken on December 11, 2002:

QuoteINFO: skywing's record:
[18:04:21] INFO: Normal games: 74560-66666666-40
[18:04:21] INFO: Ladder games: 0-0-0

When viewing the profile on the game client, the 6's overlapped the word "Disconnects".

In referring to windows 3.1 I meant the bar below the tool bar, with the buttons on it. That design was common on windows 3.1, where you didn't really have buttons with very good graphics, and the borders for those buttons stood out. That's where I was coming from. I know the toolbar is win9x+, but those buttons look awefully old. Well, really old windows 95 programs had the same design, so meh.

I guess I'm really referring to applications (for example) like the old paint program.

@anyone: Anybody remember Knowledge Adventure '95?

Hostile

Okay, Spht...
If you go back to using SphT, I'll go back to hosTiLE. ::)

spht you used to hang out in bounty hunters i dont remember you ever in that channel

Actus non facit reum nisi mens sit rea

Grok

My oldest screenshot of any note is probably of channel "The Void", when Soulburner had the first binary bots in there with about 25 concurrent instances.  However, I cannot put my hands on the screenshot at the moment.

Denial

lol soulburner oh that name brings back memories. damnbot!

channel bounty hunters
Actus non facit reum nisi mens sit rea

GameSnake

Sorry to update an older thread but I have something useful to add (circa 2004). A screen shot of what I believe to be a Blizzard rep impersonator, not an actual Rep, since back then there was some crook banning people seemingly randomly from Clan channels for no reason. Also, in this screenshot, no one was flooding the channel.
